This event will be packed with informative and insightful talks from these leading health experts in the fields of Women's Health, Menopause, Polycystic ovary syndrome, Endometriosis and Fertility. They will discuss their latest findings and share some practical tips on how to manage these topics.

Lily Stojanovska is a Professor at the Department Dept of Nutrition and Health, within the College of Medicine and Health Sciences at the United Arab Emirates University. She is also an Emeritus Professor at Victoria University, Melbourne, Australia, and an Honorary Professor at Universities in Thailand, Hong Kong, and Macedonia. She is actively involved in research, teaching, and supervising graduate students in the areas of nutrition, women's health, and prevention of chronic diseases through nutrition, exercise, and complementary modalities. She has over 130 publications in international journals, 8 book chapters and co-authored 4 books. Since 2010 her achievements have been listed annually in Who is Who Internationally.  She is a recipient of many awards including the Australian Honour Roll of Women as an international educator in women’s health. In her lecture she will present on Menopause.

Ms Meni Malamouli originally from Volos, Greece studied pharmacy in Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, Greece. During her Bachelors degree she was awarded scholarships for two research internships in different labs at the University of Barcelona, Spain. It was then when she realised that she wanted to pursue research further in the field of metabolic diseases. After applying for different PhD positions in Europe she came across the project of mitochondria in PCOS at Victoria University. This project was fascinating for her not only because of her interest in mitochondria but because she also has PCOS herself. She will be submitting her PhD in March 2024 on PCOS. She will be presenting about this syndrome from a scientific and from a personal perspective.

Associate Professor Vinay Rane is a highly experienced Obstetrician and Gynaecologist based in Melbourne. With a background in both Medicine and Law, he has gained valuable experience at prestigious institutions worldwide, including the United Kingdom and the United States. Vinay has a passion for Gynaecology and Obstetrics, particularly in helping women with advanced laparoscopic surgery techniques and assisting women who have their first baby at an older age or after a traumatic birth experience. In his approach to Obstetrics, Vinay prioritizes the holistic and individualized care of expecting mothers, respecting their choices and preferences during labour and delivery. He believes that women should have the freedom to choose their mode of delivery, without feeling guilty about opting for a caesarean section. Vinay, along with his team, strives to create a joyous and memorable birth experience for their patients by incorporating elements such as familiar music, comfortable lighting, and supportive individuals in the delivery room. As a gynaecological surgeon, Vinay specializes in minimally invasive laparoscopic and robotic procedures, particularly in cases involving endometriosis. He is also dedicated to helping women maximize their fertility before considering more invasive treatments like IVF. Vinay's private practice, Melbourne Mothers, operates with a family-oriented approach, with his wife, Dr Christine Sammartino, also being part of the practice as an obstetric medicine physician. They welcome partners and children to appointments and have intentionally located their practices outside of the hospital environment to create a more relaxed and convenient experience for their patients.

Dr Latika Cilly is an Obstetrician and Gynaecologist practicing in Melton, Sunbury, Point Cook and Werribee. Latika’s areas of interest are high risk obstetrics and minimal invasive surgery and she also specialises in management of heavy period bleeding, abnormal PAP smears, colposcopy and prolapse. Having had extensive experience in diagnosis and management of a variety of women’s health issues across all age groups, Latika is well equipped with providing a range of treatment options for problems such as PCOS, contraception, sub-fertility and menopause to name a few. Latika has had the opportunity to work across continents such as Asia, UK and Australia and has seen varied pathology in these geographies. Latika believes in providing patient-focused specialist care in women’s health. She took up obstetrics as a career choice because of the happiness and joy it brings to a family. Latika had the good luck to experience this first hand multiple times with each baby that is born under her care. Being a woman herself Latika feels she can empathise with her patients and provide them with more holistic and efficient treatment. For the major part of her career, she have worked in the western suburbs and understands very well the requirements of the population sub-group in these areas.  Her aim is always to provide her patients with the best care. She ensures immediate feedback to the referring doctor so there are no long wait times/multiple follow up calls to receive the consultation outcome.
